This Website promotes and defends personal, State and national Sovereignty, the U.S. Constitution, respective State Constitutions, the Rule of Law and traditional moral and ethical values of the American Republic.
b. Who can use this Website
You may use our Products only if you can form a binding contract with us, and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. When you create your account, you must provide us with accurate and complete information. Any use or access by anyone under the age of 13 is prohibited. Some of our Products may be software that is downloaded to your computer, phone, tablet, or other device. You agree that we may automatically upgrade those Products, and these Terms will apply to such upgrades.
c. Reason to use this Website
This Website is meant to serve those who are active in their local communities or who want to become active. All activity and content should be directed to support, encourage and enable such local involvement. Use of this Website for any other purposes is prohibited.

a. Posting content
We allow you to post content, including photos, comments, links, and other materials. Anything that you post or otherwise make available on our Products is referred to as “User Content.” You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you post.
b. Nature of posted content and Copyright violations
You agree that your posted content must be in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible to insure that all of your content is within the U.S. Copyright laws, and that you are responsible for any violations. You agree to defend LocalActivist.org and Citizens for Free Speech against any claims based on your content. If LocalActivist.org or Citizens for Free Speech incurs any legal expenses in defense of copyright claims against your content, you agree to reimburse those fees in a timely manner.
c. How other users can use your content
You grant other users a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, share, modify, create derivative works, perform, and distribute your User Content on this site solely for the purposes of operating, developing, providing, and using the Products. Nothing in these Terms shall restrict other legal rights we may have to User Content, for example under other licenses. We reserve the right to remove or modify User Content for any reason, including User Content that we believe violates these Terms or our policies.
d. How long we keep your content
Following termination or deactivation of your account, or if you remove any User Content from this site, we may retain your User Content for a commercially reasonable period of time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, our users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, re-share, modify, create derivative works, perform, and distribute any of your User Content that other users have stored or shared through this site.
At your specific request, we can purge 100% of your data, content and history from this site.
e. Feedback you provide
We value hearing from our users, and are always interested in learning about ways we can make this website more effective. If you choose to submit comments, ideas or feedback, you agree that we are free to use them without any restriction or compensation to you.

5. Reasons for Termination
We may terminate a member’s account and suspend this license at any time, with or without cause or notice to you. Upon termination, you continue to be bound by Sections 2 and 6-12 of these Terms. The following are possible triggers that can result in account termination.
a.Abuse – If we receive three abuse reports from other users regarding your activity for inappropriate material, harassment, illegal content, etc., your account may be marked for termination. b. Inactivity – If you do not login, post any content or interact with content posted by other members for 60 days or more, your account may be marked for termination. c.Prohibited uses – Certain prohibited activities may cause your account to be marked for termination. Such activities include promoting commercial activities, promoting activities that are not consistent with the overall purpose of LocalActivist.org and trolling members for personal gain. Posting illegal or copyrighted material is also prohibited. d.Anonymity – You must use your real name and post a realpicture of yourself on your Profile page. Failure to do so within a reasonable period may cause your account to be marked for termination. You can tailor your Privacy settings to limit those who can view your Profile or see your posts. Otherwise, we build trust with each other as we build relationships with real people.
The Products and all included content are provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.
THIS WEBSITE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. We each agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of a state court located in Maricopa County, Arizona or the United States District Court for Arizona.
Our Products are controlled and operated from the United States, and we make no representations that they are appropriate or available for use in other locations.
9. General Terms
Notification Procedures and changes to these Terms. We reserve the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications to you, and you agree to receive legal notices electronically if we so choose. We may revise these Terms from time to time and the most current version will always be posted on our website. If a revision, in our sole discretion, is material we will notify you. By continuing to access or use the Products after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Products.

Since LocalActivist is a private and close-knit network, anonymity is not allowed. This means that you must use your real name and post a real picture of yourself on your Profile page. LocalActivist is actively monitored to eliminate spam and trolls who would seek to disrupt our operation.
Your Local Activist data resides on a server under the exclusive control and operation of the website owner, Citizens for Free Speech. Your data is not shared with any other parties.
We take all reasonable precautions to protect the server, the database and your personal data.
The data you share on LocalActivist is visible to other members according to your personalized settings to do so. You may request Connections to other members at your discretion. You may also delete a connection at any time.
You may report offensive material to the Administrator. You may block a user from contacting you, at your discretion.
